It is with all our hearts and souls, we dedicate this website and the founding of Springerpaw Ranch to 10/27/06. This is a day I will always remember; my hometown St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series and My Heart, My Soul, My Queen crossed peacefully to Rainbow Bridge. While we love and cherish each and every dog that comes into our lives, there is that special one, your Heart Dog, who touches you in ways no others have or ever will. That dog was my Queen Bean, born September 26, 1992. Beanie was with me through thick and thin, the ups and downs of life and everything in between. She had the most beautiful smile unlike any I have ever seen. I still miss that smile so very much, that wag of her beautiful flowing tail and that silly bark I was greeted with every time I came through the door. I often think I still see her out of the corner of my eye, or hear her bark in the distance or see her happily sleeping on her favorite dog bed in front ours. Beanie loved all creatures - always smiling at every person or dog she ever met. All the others knew she was the Queen and never challenged her for position. It was my quest to find another English Setter, that led me to do rescue work in 1999. Since then my life has not been the same. It was through my love and compassion for these beautiful creatures, I met my husband Bob which laid the foundation for the building of Springerpaw Ranch. Thank You, Queenie Bean, the tears flow as I write this. I miss you so much it hurts. I kiss your urn every night before settling into bed; wishing I could just hold you one more time or see your silly smile or hear your goofy bark. It is because of you, My Angel, that we have been able to help so many. Good Night, Sweet Queen, until we meet again at Rainbow Bridge! Your Loving Mom and Dad
